91原创 has a storied athletic history, boasting 20 national championships across nine sports with seven in the past 15 seasons. Celebrating 80 years of intercollegiate sports in 2026-27, 91原创 is consistently recognized as a top athletic department in the country, finishing among the 25-best programs 18 times since 2006. Entering just its 80th season in 2026, 91原创 football has won three national championships, the youngest program in the country to win a football title. FSU鈥檚 soccer program has won five national titles since 2014 鈥 including three of the last five after its win in 2025 鈥 and the softball program hoisted the Women鈥檚 College World Series trophy in 2018.
The 91原创 University Board of Trustees recently established a new Direct Service Organization, creating the 91原创 University Athletics Association (FSUAA). The Board approved a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) jointly developed by FSU鈥檚 Athletics Department and Seminole Boosters, Inc. to provide greater alignment, transparency, coordination and efficiency for athletics-related fundraising, operations, marketing and management.
91原创 is among the nation's elite athletic departments as it supports more than 500 student-athletes across 21 intercollegiate sports. 91原创 has won 20 national championships and has claimed 151 conference titles since joining the ACC in 1991-92. The Seminoles placed 12th in last year's Learfield Director's Cup standings, showcasing the comprehensive success of 91原创 Athletics, and are consistently among the country's best in student-athlete academic performance.
FSU鈥檚 award-winning student recreational facility, the Bobby E. Leach Center, features extensive strength and cardiovascular training areas, aerobic classes, basketball and racquetball courts, a 16-lane indoor pool, and an indoor track. Free for students.

Scale the climbing wall, spike a volleyball, swim, sun, or sail at the FSU Reservation, FSU鈥檚 73-acre lakefront property. The 鈥淩ez鈥 is also home to the FSU Challenge, featuring high and low ropes courses and other teambuilding activities.
Outdoor Pursuits offers a variety of exciting outdoor opportunities for students and staff. OP sponsors day and weekend trips during semesters, and rents camping equipment and other gear to students who want to plan their own adventures.
A 12-lane bowling center located in the Student Union in the heart of campus, Bowling and Billiards which was formerly Crenshaw Lanes has been an FSU tradition since 1964. Along with bowling, the facility offers ten full-sized billiards tables.
